Leonardo Bonucci gave an explosive interview to Sportmediaset in which he addressed a number of issues. The Union Berlin defender declared that he’ll make it difficult for Luciano Spalletti to return to the national team.
“I want to continue playing and make it difficult for Spalletti for the national team. His phone call to inform me that he wouldn’t be calling me for these last games wasn’t a necessary act, it was a gesture that I’very much appreciated, it makes us understand his human depth, his sincerity. He couldn’t call me up for the national team because I hadn’t prepared properly, but I was expecting that, and I’m not stupid, but I can feel the national team jersey on my skin, just like the Juventus jersey,” declared the former Juventus Turin player.
