Teun Koopmeiners reveals that he has asked to leave Atalanta at the end of the season, and confirms interest from Juventus and Premier League clubs.

The Dutch international has been one of Serie A’s best midfielders over the last two seasons, and it’s no surprise that a number of top clubs have been linked with securing his signature in the summer. The 26-year-old confirmed the interest of Juventus and Premier League clubs in an interview with telegraaf.nl, revealing that he had already asked to leave Atalanta at the end of the current campaign. “I told Atalanta that I wanted to leave in the summer. Last season, there was concrete interest from Napoli, but the two clubs failed to reach an agreement. I hope there will be options to consider this year. I would be lying if I said I had no news of interest from Juventus or the Premier League. I’ve read the news too. I had an incredible time at Atalanta and I hope they get a big fee,” said the Dutch midfielder. Koopmeiners has scored 12 goals in 34 appearances in all competitions this season. According to reports in Italy, scouts from Europe’s top clubs are keeping a close eye on Koopmeiners. Several sources in Italy suggest that Atalanta’s asking price for Koopmeiners is €60 million.
