Renato Sanches expresses his frustration at the injuries that have derailed his career. The Portuguese talent made his first start in last night’s 7-0 win over Empoli and also scored his first goal.
“It’s been a very important moment, because it’s been my first start and it’s always difficult to come through an injury. In all the years I’ve been working, I’ve remained very professional and I’ve done everything I was supposed to do, so injuries are out of my control. I hope these injuries have disappeared, because I love soccer and I want to show what I can do. Injuries aren’t pleasant for any player, I need to play and be good physically. I’m sure that this year I’ll do everything I can to be in great shape, show my potential and help the team do its best,” Renato Sanches told DAZN.
