AC Milan host Juventus this Sunday in the 9th round of Serie A matches. The 40-year-old Antonio Mirante is expected to start in goal in the absence of the suspended Mike Maignan. Coach Stefano Pioli has expressed his full confidence in the goalkeeper.
“There is maximum confidence in Antonio Mirante. He’s an expert and reliable keeper, he’s part of the group and there’s no need to say much to a player like that. We’re on the same wavelength. Antonio knows how to read situations and spaces, so we need to be good at reading them too. Antonio is ready and prepared,” declared Stefano Pioli in a press conference ahead of the match against Juventus.
