Gian Piero Gasperini admits he’s ready to think about his future at Atalanta after securing European qualification.
“The future’s next Sunday, because a goal like the Europa League would be really wonderful. People thought this team was out of date, but we’ve shown that we’re still competitive and that we’ve always been up there with the big clubs throughout the season, with a big gap to the mid-table teams. The club knows all my concerns. I’ve got a wonderful relationship of mutual trust and gratitude, but there’s soccer and in soccer opinions can differ. I respect these opinions, I clearly have my own, and I don’t know if we will be able to find a common ground. Perhaps the time has come to say goodbye. We’ll assess everything calmly and affectionately. When you find yourself out of place, you ask yourself questions,” Gasperini told Sky Sport Italia.
