Francesco Camarda shared his emotions after his San Siro debut, thanking fans and expressing his love.
The young center-forward broke new ground at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday evening, becoming the youngest Serie A player in history when he took the field in the 83rd minute of the clash against Fiorentina, aged 15 years and 260 days. Camarda shone for AC Milan’s Primavera team this season, scoring seven goals in 13 games, despite playing alongside players three or four years older. He was promoted to the U19 team after a meeting with Paolo Maldini in early June. Writing on his Instagram page, Camarda recalled his AC Milan debut, thanking the fans and commenting on the emotions of the evening: “What can I say… it’was something unique that I’ll never forget. I discovered that I had a second home and the best one,” he wrote. Camarda, 15, is fast proving to be one of the most exciting young talents in Italian soccer, and will continue his development with AC Milan’s Primavera over the coming months.
