Former footballer Paolo Di Canio recently spoke highly of Massimiliano Allegri. He confessed to liking the way the Italian coach involves youngsters in his tactical schemes, and above all how he doesn’t let individualities destroy team spirit.
“I respect Max, I admire him a lot. Allegri only has two or three individuals and he manages them very well. That’s lucky, in quotation marks, because that way he doesn’t have big problems when he excludes someone. There are no big names creating chaos. The only ones can be in attack, where everyone is on the move. And in this sense, the youngsters fit in. Allegri is in second place, fighting with Inter, playing a lot of boys, two who are almost always first-choice and the others who arrive at particular and difficult moments,” Paolo Di Canio told Sky Sports.
