“He has excessive physical power”, Chiellini raves about Gleison Bremer

Former Juventus Turin player Giorgio Chiellini has spoken out about Gleison Bremer, who replaced him at the club. In the Italian’s view, the Brazilian has excessive power and is therefore a player for the future.

“I’m positive about him. He came from a team in which he didn’t play every third day, and he was three hands stronger than all his team-mates. At Juve, he had to make a mainly mental effort, as he has excessive physical strength. He worked on situations where he was lacking the most and where he needs to improve, but his year was positive. I’ve seen him here in Los Angeles and he seems well integrated: he has the qualities to play with three, four, one, all over the pitch or with one in the penalty area. He can do it all, and he’s growing up even with the ball at his feet. I’m looking forward to a second season of growth,” Giorgio Chiellini told Tuttosport.
