Roma were concerned after Paulo Dybala was sent off in the Coppa Italia derby defeat to Lazio, but tests ruled out a serious injury to the Argentine star.
Although Dybala has proven to be a key component of Mourinho’s team in Rome over the last 18 months, numerous injuries have frustrated his stay in the Italian capital. Since the summer of 2022, he has missed at least 29 games due to various physical ailments. As Gianluca Di Marzio pointed out, Dybala underwent a series of medical tests today, including an MRI, which confirmed that he had only suffered a muscle overload, thus avoiding any serious injury to his left flexor. Despite the good news, the 30-year-old is still not expected to rejoin the Giallorossi squad for the upcoming league clash with AC Milan.
