Marko Arnautovic has recovered in time to join the Inter squad for their Champions League clash with RB Salzburg.
The 34-year-old Austrian striker, who joined the Nerazzurri on loan from Bologna this summer, suffered a hamstring injury in the victory over Empoli on September 24. Arnautovic was absent for over a month, missing eight Serie A and Champions League matches. In his first 233 minutes of action this season, the veteran striker provided one assist. As reported by Sky Sports Italia, Arnautovic trained with the Inter squad yesterday and is now expected to be called up by Simone Inzaghi for the Champions League clash with RB Salzburg. Inter are currently tied at the top of Group D after three European games, collecting seven points from two wins and a draw. They are tied with Real Sociedad.
