“Giroud always scores, it’s a guarantee”, José Alfatini

Former AC Milan and Juventus player José Alfatini spoke to Tuttosport about Olivier Giroud and Dusan Vlahovic. He gave his opinion on both players.

For Alfatini, Giroud has the build of a great striker. He can be in trouble in a match and make the difference in the final seconds. “Often, the Frenchman isn’t visible in the game, but great playmakers are like that. They can play a mediocre 89 minutes, then half a second later, a good ball arrives and they score. When he gets the chance, Giroud always scores. That’s a guarantee,” said the Italian. He goes on to mention Dusan Vlahovic. For him, the Serb has many qualities. He deserves to be trusted. But he needs to be consistent in his performances. “Vlahovic deserves to be trusted, he has the makings of a great striker and great potential. However, he needs to become more consistent, a man who scores a goal a game”, he concluded.
