Giovanni Simeone is unlikely to extend his stay at Napoli. The Argentinian centre-forward is said to be leaving for Lazio, where a contract awaits him.
On loan from Hellas Verona to Napoli last summer, Giovanni Simeone will not be staying with the Azzurri. The Azzurri have reportedly refused to extend the purchase option. As a result, El Cholito has decided to make a change of scenery. According to Il Messaggero, he is set to move to Lazio Rome. Diego Simeone’s son has reportedly given his consent. At Maurizio Sarri’s club, he is expected to understudy Ciro Immobile. For the time being, neither Hellas Verona nor Lazio have released any details of the contract. As a reminder, he played 32 games in all competitions with Napoli this season. He scored 8 goals and provided one assist.
