Federico Chiesa’s agent, Fali Ramadani, has been hard at work in recent weeks trying to find a new club for his client, and his efforts recently took him to the UK for talks with two Premier League teams, according to reports on Sunday.
Chiesa isn’t in new Juventus coach Thiago Motta’s plans for the coming season, and the Italian international has been left out of the first-team squad for Saturday’s pre-season friendly against Brest. Motta confirmed at his post-match media functions that the decision had been taken “for transfer reasons” and that Chiesa and several other Juve players had been told to find new solutions as quickly as possible. A handful of Serie A clubs, including Napoli and Inter, are reportedly keen to secure a low-cost contract for the 26-year-old, but there are still a few options abroad. During Ramadani’s recent trip to the UK, he reportedly spoke to representatives of two London clubs in Chelsea and Tottenham, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
