Newly promoted Serie A side Frosinone have confirmed the appointment of Eusebio Di Francesco for 2023-24.

The Ciociari have officially replaced 2006 Italian World Cup hero Fabio Grosso, who left the club after winning Serie B in 2022-23. “Frosinone Calcio announces the appointment of Eusebio Di Francesco as the new first-team coach. The Pescara-born coach has signed a contract until June 30, 2024, with an option for an additional season in the event of survival,” the club said in a statement. Di Francesco, a former Roma and Sassuolo boss who reached the Champions League semi-finals with Roma in 2018, returns to the dugout for the first time since September 2021 when he was sacked after just four games in charge of Hellas Verona .
