Olympique de Marseille have begun to consider a move for Charles De Ketelaere, who could leave AC Milan after just one year.

The Rossoneri are ready to cut their losses on the 22-year-old Belgian striker after his unconvincing first season, in which he managed just one assist in 40 total appearances, with 1480 minutes of action. A number of clubs have begun to keep an eye on De Ketelaere, including Aston Villa and PSV, but none have yet submitted a concrete offer. La Gazzetta dello Sport details how Marseille have now decided to enter the fray for De Ketelaere and are considering making a move for him this summer. AC Milan aren’t prepared to take a capital loss on the 22-year-old, so they won’t accept anything less than €28 million. They would prefer a permanent transfer to a loan agreement, even if a compulsory purchase clause could change things.
