According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City are closing in on Francesco Camarda, who will not sign a contract extension with AC Milan next week.

Camarada was due to sign his first professional contract with AC Milan after turning 16 next week, but according to Gazzetta, the contract signing has been postponed. The pink paper reports that Camarda’s agents and AC Milan have an agreement in principle, but it will still take time for a formal extension. This could also benefit AC Milan, as if Camarda were to sign a new deal in July, then the contract would be valid until 2027. However, many European clubs are keeping an eye on the emerging Italian striker, so AC Milan can’t really be safe until Camarda officially extends his stay at the Meazza.
