Stefano Pioli is unlikely to remain at the helm of AC Milan next season. While the club is considering several profiles, Filippo Galli, a former coach of the club, has made a suggestion. He recommends Julen Lopetegui for his vast experience in Europe.
“If he becomes Milan’s next coach, he will win the Europa League after beating Inter in the final. Not a bad calling card. The field will tell. True, things didn’t go well for him at Madrid and Porto, but as Spain coach, he achieved excellent results, playing spectacular soccer, and at Seville, he won. If Milan are looking for an experienced coach capable of working with youngsters, Lopetegui could be an interesting profile,” Filippo Galli told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
