Fiorentina could lose up to 30 million euros in revenue during the two years they will have to play away from the Stadio Artemio Franchi due to the likely drop in attendance during that time.
The Viola will have to leave their home stadium for two years from 2024 and return in 2026 while the ground undergoes major renovation. The necessary improvements and modernization of the Stadio Franchi will be financed by the PNRR fund, at a cost of approximately 200 million euros. Calcio e Finanza reports that Fiorentina will lose millions in revenue over the two years due to the expected drop in ticket sales, hospitality, food and beverage and television rights. Fiorentina could therefore lose between 12 and 15 million euros in revenue per season, or up to 30 million euros over a two-year period, assuming there are no delays in the completion date during this period.
