Roma are looking for a top striker to start the new season. This is due to the long-term injury to Tammy Abraham. While the club is pursuing a number of difficult leads at the moment, Hugo Ekitike of PSG sounds like a solution for the club from the Italian capital.
For José Mourinho, Alvaro Morata would be the right profile to replace the injured Tammy Abraham, unavailable until 2024. However, the Giallorossi are facing competition in their bid to complete the deal. Inter and Juventus are also interested. The other option is West Ham’s Gianluca Scamacca. For the time being, however, the two clubs are still a long way from reaching an agreement. The final and most promising option is Hugo Ekitike. The former Remois player isn’t getting the playing time he needs at PSG. A departure would do him a world of good. And the club from the French capital is ready to let him go on a straight loan.
