Felipe Anderson will be leaving Lazio after several seasons with the club. The Brazilian midfielder will not be extending his adventure with the Capitolini. He has bid farewell to the club.
The match against Sassuolo will be Felipe Anderson’s last with Lazio. The Brazilian, who will join Palmeiras in Brazil at the end of the season, will bid farewell to the Biancocelesti after eight seasons, split into two periods. Having arrived in 2013, he was sold to West Ham in 2018 following disagreements with coach Simone Inzaghi. After two seasons in England and one on loan at Porto, he returned to Lazio in 2021. He made 325 appearances and scored 58 goals for the club in all competitions. On social networks, Lazio published an emotional farewell video: “For me, Lazio is not just a club, it’s not just a soccer team,” says Felipe Anderson, who in the video reviews and relives the highlights of his double adventure in the Biancoceleste. “It’s a part of my life, I’ve grown up here in every sense of the word: for me and my family, it will never be just a soccer team,” he declared.
