Reports have revealed that Napoli star Victor Osimhen is considering a change of agent, but his representative Roberto Calenda has publicly ruled out such claims. The 24-year-old hasn’t had an easy season after the team’s incredible Scudetto success last season. He has struggled to find a good relationship with new coach Rudi Garcia. Osimhen was recently at the center of a controversy after Napoli posted two videos on its official TikTok page mocking him, the first comparing him to a coconut and the second mocking his missed penalty against Bologna.
DAZN journalist Orazio Accomando reported on Tuesday morning that Osimhen was “seriously thinking” of changing agent to a French representative. Calenda responded publicly to this, writing, “I was seriously thinking of responding to this person, but then I read that he’s been writing false news about Osimhen for months.” The Italian agent has been Osimhen’s representative since 2022 and strongly supported the Nigerian striker during the recent TikTok scandal with Napoli, threatening to take legal action against the club for their treatment of his talent.
