Former Inter Milan defender Fabio Cannavaro had this to say about new Nerazzuri recruit Marcus Thuram. The 2006 world champion admitted that the French international was a very strong player. He has no doubt that he will be a useful addition to the Lombardy club’s team.
Marcus Thuram freely joined Inter Milan this summer after ending his contract with Borussia M’gladbach in Germany. The son of Lilian Thuram has already scored a goal and three assists in three Serie A games. For Cannavaro, there’s no doubt. In his opinion, the 26-year-old forward has everything it takes to entertain the club’s fans. “I’m happy that Marcus is in Italy, he’s a strong player who will entertain the Italian fans, especially those of Inter,” the world champion footballer told Tuttosport.
