Former Roma player Nicolo Zaniolo, who recently moved to Aston Villa, spoke about the difference between English and Italian soccer. He revealed that there are many differences from a structural point of view and in the way soccer is played. He believes that English soccer is much better than Italian football.
“Let’s just say that the structures here are a little more advanced than those in Italy, and the soccer is very different. In Italy, there’s more tactics, waiting and studying, whereas here the soccer is more proactive. As far as my characteristics are concerned, I think this soccer is better than Italian soccer. As soon as I arrived, I immediately understood the importance and history of a club like Aston Villa, and I got down to work,” he told Sky Sports.
