Sky Sport Italia reports that Manchester United will intensify talks with Atalanta for Rasmus Hojlund and are expected to make contact with La Dea’s directors shortly.
The Danish international has long been a target of the Red Devils, and according to Sky Sport Italia, talks between the two clubs’directors will intensify in the coming hours. Sky reports that Atalanta’s asking price for their exciting young striker is around €60 million. Hojlund, 20, scored 10 goals in 34 appearances for La Dea in his first season in Serie A. According to Sky Sport Italia, Manchester United have yet to make an opening bid for the Danish international. La Dea CEO Luca Percassi recently told Sky Sport Italia that he wanted to keep the club’s best players, including Hojlund, but left the door open to the striker’s transfer to Old Trafford, claiming that Atalanta had also strengthened the squad “through sales” in recent years.
