Arsenal have rekindled their interest in Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic ahead of the summer transfer window, reports Details.

The Gunners were seriously interested in signing the Serbian striker in January 2022 before he ended up joining the Old Lady in a deal worth around 83 million euros, forcing the Premier League side to look elsewhere, picking up Gabriel Jesus the following summer. Despite his difficulties in Turin, Vlahovic continued to impress this season for Juventus, scoring 17 goals in 33 games. With just over two years remaining on his contract, the club is keen to extend his deal by at least another year, wanting to spread his depreciation costs and his net salary of 12 million euros. According to Tuttosport, Arsenal began targeting Vlahovic before the summer as they look for a reliable striker to help them keep pace with Premier League giants Manchester City. Mikel Arteta’s team have needed a steady source of goals for some time now, as Jesus has only scored eight this season, and the Serbian striker’s contractual situation at Juventus could help facilitate a move.
