According to The Atheltic, Manchester United have held “detailed discussions” with Atalanta for striker Rasmus Hojlund.
The 20-year-old has scored eight goals in 31 Serie A games this season after a €17 million transfer from Strum Graz last summer. Touted as the “next Erling Haaland”, the Danish international has attracted interest from a number of clubs across Europe, and according to The Atheltic, Manchester United have taken concrete steps towards his signature. According to the report, the Red Devils have held “detailed discussions” with La Dea on the purchase of the striker. Man United are also in talks with Eintracht Frankfurt for Randal Kolo Muani, but Hojlund “is considered the most likely player to join United at this stage”.
