Yassine Bounou, a former Sevilla goalkeeper who now plays for Al-Hilal, recently spoke to the media about the failed transfer of his compatriot Youssef En-Nesyri to AC Milan.
Following the failure of negotiations to sign Mehdi Taremi, Porto’s Iranian striker, AC Milan knocked on Sevilla’s door for Youssef En-Nesyri. Even so, the deal failed to materialize. For Yassine Bounou, the Andalusian club would never have let the Moroccan go, given his importance to the team. “En-Nesyri had offers, but Sevilla couldn’t let him go for just any offer. He wouldn’t have left Seville to go on loan to AC Milan,” said the Al-Hilal goalkeeper in an interview with Canal Sur radio.
