AC Milan are in the final stages of negotiations with Tottenham for Emerson Royal and are pushing to conclude a deal before next week.
The Rossoneri have been targeting a new right-back for a number of weeks now and believe that the 25-year-old Brazilian full-back is the right option for Paulo Fonseca’s team, adding cover to Davide Calabria, who has yet to agree a new contract with the club. AC Milan and Tottenham have been in talks for some time, and Emerson Royal is keen to complete the transfer, eager to try a new adventure in Italy. The Rossoneri are hoping to pay around €15 million plus add-ons, while Spurs appear to be holding out for a fee of €20 million. According to Corriere dello Sport, AC Milan don’t want to waste any more time and want to finalize an agreement with Tottenham for Emerson Royal in the next 48 to 72 hours. Final details are still being worked out, but the Rossoneri are confident that a move can be finalized soon, allowing them to focus on other transfer targets such as Roma striker Tammy Abraham.
