On the sidelines of the match between Roma and Empoli, Francesco Totti made a media appearance. He spoke of the duo of Lukaku – Dybala, who could be fielded for the first time. Not only did he admit that the Argentinian genius deserved the number 10 shirt he hadn’t worn since leaving the club.
Paulo Dybala turned down the number 10 shirt when he joined Roma out of respect for legend Francesco Totti. But Dybala believes he deserves to wear it. “We’ve never seen them in action and that would be the case. I can’t wait. Dybala deserves such a number, but to give it to a boy of two, three or four seems disrespectful to me. Not for me, but for the club and the fans,” Francesco Totti told Corriere Dello Sport.
