Dusan Vlahovic receives hefty fine

While Juventus were playing Genoa last weekend, Dusan Vlahovic lost his temper at the end of the match. He got into a heated altercation with match referee Antonio Giua. This earned him a red card and now a hefty fine.

In stoppage time of Juventus’ 0-0 draw with Genoa, Dusan Vlahovic received a yellow card for protesting. But the Serb didn’t stop talking. The referee had no choice but to give him a second yellow card and send him off. A dismissal which has consequences for the former Fiorentina player. He will have to pay a fine of 70,000 euros, equivalent to 5% of his gross monthly salary. On top of this, he will be suspended for one match. He is expected to miss the match against Lazio on March 30.
