Inter have officially announced the contract extension of Federico Dimarco, who has extended his stay at the club until June 2027.
The Italian is an essential part of Simone Inzaghi’s squad for the 2021-22 campaign. He has become one of the best left-backs in Serie A and has recently attracted the attention of Newcastle United and Chelsea. Dimarco has continued to play regularly this season, scoring three goals and providing five assists in 21 appearances this season, with 1325 minutes of action. As confirmed today, Dimarco has now signed a new contract with Inter, binding him to the club until June 2027, a one-year extension on his previous deal. The Nerazzurri are in the process of concluding contracts with a number of their star players, and further announcements are expected in the coming months, with the likes of Lautaro Martinez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan set to extend their stay in the Lombardy capital.
