Didier Deschamps, coach of the French national team, spoke about Paul Pogba’s future with the national team. The latter suffered repeated injuries last season. His return to the national team is not out of the question, but the former Manchester United man needs to recover fully first.
“Yes, potentially yes, but he’s coming off a very complicated year, with his injuries and extra-sporting problems. He needs to regain all his qualities. I’m talking to him, of course, but he needs time to recover. He has to train, then play matches, and his body has to get used to it. I only want Paul in the French team if he’s the real Paul. But I think he can come back, he has the mentality and the skills to do it,” Didier Deschamps told L’Equipe.
