AC Milan are out of the running to sign Joshua Zirkzee, and Morata has become their main target to strengthen the attack. Zlatan Ibrahimovic told a press conference on Monday that AC Milan had identified Morata as their priority. According to the Pink newspaper, AC Milan have offered the Spaniard a three-year contract worth €4 million per season. Morata has two years left on his contract with Atletico Madrid, but the deal includes a €13 million clause, which AC Milan are ready to trigger. Ibrahimovic and the Rossoneri’s new coach, Paulo Fonseca, said on Monday that they were confident the new striker would soon move to the San Siro. Meanwhile, Morata said in a recent interview with El Mundo that he was happier outside Spain, suggesting that his time with Atletico Madrid could come to an end after the Euro.
