AC Milan are taking their time choosing Stefano Pioli’s successor, but in the meantime, we know more about the Milanese club’s offer for the former Real coach.
Spanish coach Lopetegui appears to be AC Milan’s leading candidate to replace Pioli next season, although the Rossoneri are still making their evaluations, especially given the resistance of most of their fans. According to the pink newspaper, the Rossoneri are ready to offer Lopetegui a three-year contract worth €4 million per season. Gazzetta predicts that AC Milan directors will soon meet Lopetegui’s representatives again. The Milan-based newspaper also reports that AC Milan directors are considering the opinions of fans, but Lopetegui remains the first option to replace Pioli. However, should negotiations with the Spaniard collapse, the Serie A giants would consider Roberto De Zerbi and Paulo Fonseca.
