AC Milan will be without captain Davide Calabria for their forthcoming matches with Stade Rennais and Monza.

The Rossoneri secured an important 1-0 victory at home to Napoli on Sunday evening, an important result that maintains their momentum ahead of the next games in the Europa League knockout phase with Rennes. Early indications suggested that the captain had suffered a problem with his left adductor muscle. As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian international suffered edema in his left adductor muscle, an injury which will force him to miss AC Milan’s next two games against Rennes and Monza. This is the 34th injury of the season for the Rossoneri, and the 23rd muscle-related. The good news is that Malick Thiaw has almost completed his convalescence and should be in Stefano Pioli’s squad for the next clash with the Ligue 1 side.
