AC Milan and Davide Calabria are both hoping for a contract extension, although the two parties have not yet met to begin negotiations.
The 27-year-old right-back is under contract for just over a year, until the summer of 2025, but is keen to commit several more years to the club he joined at the age of 10. According to transfer expert Matteo Moretto, AC Milan have now informed Calabria’s agents of their desire to renew his contract, although they have yet to make an official offer. The club and agents have not yet discussed specific figures, however, it is understood that the Italian international will not make any unreasonable demands. In fact, Moretto reports that the Rossoneri captain has not asked for any increase in salary. The AC Milan right-back recently celebrated his 200th Serie A appearance for the club.
