Moise Kean has spoken out about his Juventus teammate Danilo’s behavior. Speaking to Weston McKennie on the 19F podcast, the Italian striker compared the Brazilian full-back to Cristiano Ronaldo. For him, the two footballers are similar in terms of mentality and leadership.
“He (Danilo) is very direct, he has a ‘hustler’ mentality, he always asks for more. Once, before the match, he said to me: “You know we should go to the gym, come with me”. He takes care of the lighting for the reflections. Then I came down from the gym with Danilo, he came to pick me up and Weston said, “But where are you going?”, you’re going out early? Unbelievable… No, I’m going with Danilo to do the lighting. He came along too, and from then on we were always there before the match to do the lighting. He gave me a lot of advice in life, he’s a great person, a captain”, he declared. At 32, Danilo is still one of Massimiliano Allegri’s key players. Having arrived from Manchester City, the Brazilian defender is now in his fifth season with Juventus. Almost beyond reproach, he has risen through the ranks to become captain of the Bianconeri. Danilo averages 31 games a season with Juventus.
