Daniele De Rossi has confirmed that Chris Smalling will soon be available again for Roma, against Inter or Feyenoord.
The English central defender has played just three games for Roma this season, making his last appearance in a home match in Milan on September 1. The former Manchester United central defender has been suffering from tendonitis for several months, but De Rossi said on Sunday that the 34-year-old’s return to the pitch was imminent. “With Chris, we changed the workload because it wasn’t too heavy. He will be back against Inter or Feyenoord,” said DDR. Roma welcome Inter to the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday February 10, and travel to Feyenoord for the first leg of the Europa League knockout play-off five days later, on February 15.
