Daniel Maldini followed in the footsteps of his father, Milanese legend Paolo, by scoring a goal in Serie A against Inter.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder naturally passed through the Rossoneri youth academy, as the son of Paolo and grandson of Cesare Maldini, and is currently on loan at Spezia. Daniel scored against Inter last night, the first time Spezia has beaten Inter after eight defeats and a draw in all competitions. “I was waiting for a while, a moment like this. Fortunately, it came against a strong team and we will enjoy it,” he told DAZN. Daniel’s father, Paolo, had also scored a Serie A goal against Inter in November 1994 in the Milan Derby even before Daniel was born.
