Giuntoli is ready to leave Napoli for Juventus , where he will work to launch a new era in Turin.
La Gazzetta dello Sport detail how the sporting director has reached an agreement with Aurelio De Laurentiis to push through his departure from Partenopei, forfeiting last year’s salary and bonuses worth around €2 million net or €4 million gross. Giuntoli will soon officially move to Juventus, where he will work closely with Massimiliano Allegri and the management to begin rebuilding the team. First of all, the director will discuss with the coach the technical plans for the coming season, before any market moves are made. Juventus’s new director is supported by a well-established structure, with Claudio Chiellini working with the Next Gen team and Giovanni Manna playing a more active role in the transfer market. The latter will work closely with Giuntoli, acting as his right-hand man.
