In a recent media release, Lazio Rome president Claudio Lotito reaffirmed his desire to keep Maurizio Sarri as coach. He refutes all rumours of a future dismissal of the Italian coach.
“Let’s not be silly. He’s not resigning and I’m not going to fire him,” Claudio Lotito told Il Messaggero. His words were followed by a press release in which the president reaffirmed the full harmony between himself and the coach: “Chairman Claudio Lotito and coach Maurizio Sarri, following their meeting last night in Formello, reaffirmed the full harmony in the management of the market and the unity of purpose aimed at making the team even more competitive for next season,” reads the press release.
