Charles De Ketelaere joined Atalanta this summer on loan from AC Milan. The Belgian midfielder has made his mark in Bergamo and is already rising from the ashes.
Transferred to AC Milan last summer for 32 million euros, Charles De ketelaere has failed to establish himself in Lombardy as he did at Club Brugge in Italy. In 40 games played over the course of the season, he managed just one assist. The man who embodied the “new Kaka”, disappointed. This summer, he was loaned out to Atalanta Bergamo, still in Serie A. And the least we can say is that the 22-year-old has risen from the ashes. In just three games played, he has managed to score a goal and an assist. That’s more than he achieved in a single season at AC Milan.
