FC Porto’s Brazilian striker Eduardo Gabriel Aquino Cossa, better known as Pepê, has reportedly received his Italian passport. He is now applying for a place in the Italian national team. He could receive a call-up to Roberto Mancini’s next squad.
After Lucas Piton and Mateo Retegui, Roberto Mancini could call on a new striker for the national team. Pepê, the 26-year-old Porto striker, has played 54 games this season, scoring 5 goals and providing 8 assists. Brazilian by birth, the former Gremio player has reportedly received his Italian passport. He is now eligible for the Squadra Azzurra. He could therefore be part of the team for the next few international tournaments.
