Brazil have been without a coach since the departure of Tite. The Seleçao have opted for Carlo Ancelotti, who is still coach of Real Madrid. In a recent media appearance, the President of the Brazilian Football Federation once again made it clear that the Italian was the team’s first choice. For the time being, however, formalization is still a long way off, as the former PSG coach’s intentions remain unclear.
“Brazil has a number of competent coaches whom we like a lot, but Ancelotti is plan A. We have the feeling that things will go well: he knows most of the players and admires Brazilian soccer a lot,” said Brazilian Football Federation President Ednaldo Rodrigues.
