A few days ago, it was announced that French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris would be joining Lazio. However, the latest news is that the former Tottenham goalkeeper is no longer expected to arrive in the Italian capital. Lloris is said to have asked for certain guarantees, which he did not receive. He has therefore decided not to continue negotiations.
Released by Tottenham this summer, Hugo Lloris is currently looking for a club. The French goalkeeper was rumored to be close to Lazio Rome. The former France captain has reportedly agreed personal terms with the club. However, he has asked for talks with coach Maurizio Sarri in order to obtain certain guarantees, particularly concerning his playing time. However, the Italian coach does not want to give the 2018 World Champion false hope. He prefers Ivan Provedel, who didn’t disappoint last season. Hugo Lloris should therefore continue his search.
