Arrived at Juventus Turin last summer, Angel Di Maria is not expected to stay in the Piedmont for another year. According to reports, the two parties have not reached an agreement for the extension. This, more because of the withdrawal of 10 points to Juventus in the overall Serie A standings. The club will not take part in the Champions League or the Europa League.
“Talks have broken down between Juventus and Angel Di Maria despite the optimism of both parties in April. He is no longer sure to stay at Juventus next season. The situation is complicated. Di Maria would be available as a free agent because there is no agreement with Juve for now,” posted Italian transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano on his Twitter account.
