“Berardi – Vlahovic – Chiesa are perfect for playing together”, Giuseppe Lachini

Giuseppe Lachini, former Parma and Fiorentina coach, in an interview with Tuttosport, made a suggestion to Massimiliano Allegri and the perfect attacking trident for Juventus. He revealed that Berardi, Vlahovic and Chiesa could well fit the bill.

“A Berardi-Vlahovic-Chiesa trident would be great. They’re perfect for playing together, they’ve got characteristics that match perfectly. Is Berardi ready for the big jump? He certainly is. There’s no doubt about it: Berardi is made for Juventus. Domenico is ready to make the difference, even in a big team. He deserves to play at the highest level. In recent years, he has also made great progress in terms of leadership on the pitch and in the dressing room: he has great human and technical qualities. Who says that Berardi only performs well if he plays on the right in a 4-3-3? I say that’s not true. It’s certainly a position in which he’s done very well, but with me he’s often played as a striker. At Sassuolo, I used the 3-5-2 as a module and Mimmo scored twice. So I have no doubts: he can easily play as a striker in a two-man attack”, declared Giuseppe Lachini.
