Inter director Beppe Marotta confirms that Piotr Zielinski is one of the players the Nerazzurri are monitoring, but insists it is “too early” to make a move.
Zielinski’s contract at the Stadio Maradona expires at the end of the season, but Napoli are in talks to extend his stay at the club. Juventus and Inter have been linked with signing the Polish international on a free transfer in June, and Marotta confirms that the Nerazzurri are keeping tabs on the 29-year-old. “I know his contract expires, but at the moment we are not worried. We keep an eye on players whose contracts expire, but it’s too early to intervene directly. He’s a talented player and I hope, even for Napoli’s sake, that he can reach an agreement with them,” the Nerazzurri director told DAZN.
