According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard is interested in a move to Serie A this summer, with Inter and AC Milan also interested.
The French international has long been a target for both Milanese teams. Inter offered €20 million to sign him during the January mercato, but the Bavarians refused to sell following an injury to Lucas Hernandez, brother of Milan defender Theo. Now, according to Gazzetta, Pavard has decided to leave Germany at the end of the season and wants to prove himself in Serie A. According to the report, the defender recently informed his club of his desire to join a new club this summer. AC Milan and Inter remain interested. Last December, Pavard confessed that he often spoke with his compatriot Olivier Giroud about life and soccer in Italy. The 27-year-old, who is under contract at the Allianz Arena until June 2024, also attended a Milan match at the San Siro in April, meeting Rossoneri players in the dressing room after the final whistle.
