Inter will be without Danilo D’Ambrosio against Salernitana, because his appeal against a two-game suspension in Serie A has been only partially accepted.
The initial suspension was imposed after his red card for a fight with Juventus midfielder Leandro Paredes following the final whistle of the Bianconeri’s 1-0 win at the San Siro. He has already missed the first part of the ban in Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Fiorentina. The club was hoping to halve it on appeal, so bringing back D’Ambrosio on Friday against Salernitana. However, the appeal was only partially successful, as the €5,000 fine was revoked, but the two-match ban remained intact. Inter are reportedly furious, as Paredes only received a one-match ban and will therefore return to the field for Juventus this weekend.
